Prince Harry Makes a ‘Solo’ Virtual Appearance to Greet The Diana Award Winners
Over the last few years, the world has seen Prince Harry and Meghan Markle go out of their way to support each other’s endeavors. While it may have become a rather common occurrence, there are a few events where the Sussex couple might choose to fly solo. For the 42-year-old, it has been some of her women-focused meetings. However, for the 39-year-old, it has been some of his royal duties that he will never give up.
Now, shortly after he rushed to King Charles’ side after his health scare, the Duke made a solo virtual appearance at an awards show.

Prince Harry may have left his royal responsibilities behind. However, the 39-year-old has not forgotten his responsibility to his parents. The Duke of Sussex checked in with the winners of The Diana Award, which was named after the late Princess Diana. Although the 25th-anniversary ceremony was held in London, the father of two had video-chatted with the group and congratulated them.
“My mum would be incredibly proud of all of the work that you’ve done,” stated the Duke. He also ended up thanking them for “everything” they did. The 39-year-old added that he was “sorry” that he could not make it, as he was at home in the US with Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Although the royal could not make it, another member of his family showed up.
While Prince Harry had congratulated the winners on their achievements, his older brother had taken up a more important job for the awards show.
Prince William hands out awards at The Diana Award
Just before Prince Harry took over the Science Museum in London for the Diana Awards, his brother, Prince William, had also stopped in to say a few words. After sharing a short speech about his mother, the late Princess Diana, the future king of England, presented the winners with their awards. Although both the brothers had shown up, in person and virtually, there was no interaction between the two once again.

During his speech, the 41-year-old shared a little of his mother’s wisdom with the crowd. He said, “Everyone has the potential to give something back, that everyone in need deserves a supporting hand in life.” The Prince of Wales also stated that it was something he and his wife, Kate Middleton, have tried to focus on through their various projects.
