Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle relocated to the US, controversies have continuously surrounded them. Despite ongoing scrutiny from royal pundits, recent months have seen a somber atmosphere due to King Charles and Kate Middleton’s declining health. Reports have suggested that the King desires to spend more time with his Sussex grandchildren, with a recent claim stating that Prince Harry may be house-hunting to be near his ailing father.

A royal expert has recently discussed these developments, raising the question of whether the Prince is considering establishing a new UK residence for his family.

Tom Quinn, the royal expert, recently spoke to the Mirror, revealing that Prince Harry is reportedly searching for a “secluded Georgian house” near King Charles’ Highgrove estate in Gloucestershire. Quinn emphasized that this move is likely to be quite complex, as the Prince must carefully consider his options. Reflecting on the Duke’s lack of experience living anywhere “other than well-protected houses” away from the public eye, Quinn explained that Harry has found drawbacks in every house he has looked at so far.

Quinn elaborated that the Duke had already spent significant time exploring what kind of UK base he might have. Additionally, the expert noted that Prince Harry would struggle to find anything that offers the same level of privacy he enjoyed with Meghan Markle at Frogmore Cottage. Quinn reiterated that the reason King Charles asked him to leave the Cottage was due to his growing obsession with privacy, in addition to security concerns.

Prince Harry’s homesickness is noteworthy, as are Meghan Markle’s contrasting desires. However, amidst these developments, Tom Quinn highlighted a major issue that is expected to persist even if they find a place in the UK. He pointed out that the problem may lie with the cost of security in the UK for the Prince. Nevertheless, Quinn noted that the benefits could outweigh the drawbacks.

Quinn believes that although the Duke is reluctant to pay a significant sum for security, he acknowledges that a high level of security would be necessary even if the house is close to King Charles’ residence. On the other hand, the prospect of purchasing a house near his father’s home means he could visit the UK for short periods with his children, facilitating the fulfillment of the King’s desire to build a relationship with them. However, much would also depend on the Duchess’s perspective, as she has increasingly opposed the idea of reconciliation.
