Meanwhile, on their sojourn to earn a life independent of the royal monarchy, the Sussexes may have dug themselves a valley too deep to cross back.

On the backs of such a gloomy outset, an author of royal affairs has come forward with an even bleaker prospect of reconciliation.

Already under high tensions, Prince Harry may have served the final nail in the coffin of his relationship with Prince William with the release of his memoir, Spare. Two weeks into 2023, the bombshell revelations by the Duke of Sussex saw him mention his brother as his “archnemesis”. The move may have dealt an irreparable blow to any prospect of mending the fences between the two, believes an author of a book, Endgame, dedicated to royal affairs. Speaking to People, Omid Scobie believed that there’s no going back,” in the brothers’ relationship.

In his mentions, Prince Harry while describing Prince William as his “loving brother” also lashed out claims that he “lunged” at him. Accusing him of physical attacks and “screaming”, the 39-year-old essentially severed the last straw. Moreover, Scobie also claimed that “In the eyes of some within the institution, Harry is a threat to the crown.” The remarks are based on the US-based royal’s forward thinking and no hesitation to put forth and criticize royal shortcomings.
