Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s $100 million deal with Netflix was one of the strongest assets that the couple leaned on in the industry. However, the chances of the deal being renewed after the fifth year seem highly slim, leaving the Sussexes with few options for their Hollywood career. As per Mirror, Sky News host Rita Panahi recently shared her thoughts on the couple’s position in the industry, claiming that Prince Harry thinks to himself, “I've given up a lot and now I'm chasing Netflix money.”
The host also stated that the standing of the Sussexes is miles apart from what it was a few years back, particularly when they were still members of the royal family. Many royal experts share the same sentiment. The Sussexes’ attempts to build connections with influential figures are seen as a desperate move by experts like Kinsey Schofield. In addition to the threat to their careers and the Duke’s US lifestyle, another “nightmare” has presented itself.
Prince Harry is poised to have all eyes on him as King Charles inadvertently sets up two awkward situations in front of his estranged son.

Prince Harry is about to face two significant occasions where he ideally should honor his father, King Charles: Father’s Day and King Charles’ birthday. Speaking to Royal author and Mirror expert Tom Quinn, it was shared how these two events will demonstrate whether the Duke is “big enough to reach out to his father”.
This could either provide an opportunity for Prince Harry to improve his standing among royal loyalists or, as Quinn predicted, turn into a “nightmare”. Considering that Prince Harry did not hesitate to visit his father when the King was ill, it does not seem impossible. However, only time will tell if Prince Harry can emerge from the shadow of misfortune that has clouded his standing in the industry.
