Prince Harry Does Not Need a Frogmore Cottage or Royal Titles From King Charles but an ”act of compassion”
When Prince Harry dropped his “bombshell memoir” ,as it has come to be called, at the beginning of this year, he saw for the second time the entirety of the royal realm turning their backs on him. However, this would be the first project where the plot twist would come after the release, as experts start finding the fault in King Charles’ behavior.
The Californian royal has had to shoulder the burden of the feud for the most part, since he publicly came out with his tale. But much like it takes two to tango, it takes a lack of “reconciliation” and “forgiveness” from a King to let a prince go.

While Prince Harry does reflect on how, with the growing prominence of him and his wife, Prince William grew jealous of him, he only blames his father for “inattentiveness“. However, as per Dr. Tessa Dunlop’s statement on the To Di for Daily podcast, as reported by the Daily Express, King Charles could have easily resolved the feud within a matter of months. The King should have publicly shown an “act of compassion” according to the royal expert.
Dr. Dunlop is of the thought that King Charles needed to not only extend an olive branch but climb over it if it meant mending the relationship with his son. However, not only did he not do this, but he and Prince William did quite the opposite during Prince Harry’s short yet very crucial appearance at the coronation.

Following their documentary and memoir, the royal limb in Britain took away from the Sussexes, the home that they paid to keep as well as Prince Harry’s royal title. While these occurrences did make the feud worse, their reimbursement will not be enough to make it better. And much like Prince Harry, Dr. Dunlop’s argument also boils down to a public apology from the royal family.
Prince Harry’s demand for a public apology from his family, especially for their silence amidst Jeremy Clarkson’s vitriolic attack on Meghan Markle, was loud and clear. And with how the feud has only gotten worse, it seems like a public apology is the only answer.
