The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have settled into a cozy life in California, far from Buckingham’s long shadow, but it seems the ties have not entirely loosened. Recently, Prince Harry’s heart's desires and deep-seated yearnings have surfaced yet again, speaking volumes about whether he has truly found his footing in California following Megxit. 

Turns out, despite Prince Harry’s claims that he will not bring his wife and children to the UK due to security concerns, it appears he would still leap at the chance to return to his British roots if given the opportunity.

One of Prince Harry’s oldest friends has shared some insider facts about the Duke. The source told The Times that Prince Harry would rather be in the UK, enjoying the feeling of "everyone loving him" again, and that he "desperately" misses his old life there. The insider also touched on Prince William and Kate Middleton, who are beloved by fans in Britain. It seems Prince Harry longs to be "admired like William and Kate".

This news surfaced just after royal expert Mike Parry claimed that Meghan Markle is isolating Prince Harry and that the Duke of Sussex might return to the UK in the next two years. Parry told GB News, "I feel increasingly sorry for Harry because I think he's getting isolated”. Nonetheless, Prince Harry has made it very clear that he is not willing to bring his Californian family back to the UK.

Prince Harry laid bare his feelings in an interview for ITV’s documentary Tabloids on Trial, which aired last month. The Duke revealed why he will not be bringing Markle back to the UK. "It’s still dangerous," the 39-year-old explained. He mentioned that threats for his family could be as severe as "a knife or acid" attack, given the polarizing sentiment UK residents have for the Sussexes.

“I won’t bring my wife back to this country,” Prince Harry asserted. This was also one of the main reasons the couple recently decided to hit pause on their house hunt in the UK. Prince Harry also explained that he intends to keep fighting his battles in court for security. And now, with speculation about his wishes to return to the UK, the Duke has even more reason to dig in his heels over his security concerns.
