There is no place like home, and the proverb stands true even for the Britain royals, who can build up ten more houses if needed. Despite the abundance of luxurious homes and palaces, the attachment to the first home feels like the first love. We often believe we are destined to be with them. But destiny often has something else stored in for us. Similar was the instance with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who did not have the privilege to keep safe their first abode together.
Like the rest of the royal perks that they washed their hands off, they also had to bid farewell to their Frogmore Cottage, the one they held very dearly in their heart. So much so that he even took to his record-breaking tell-all memoir to give himself time to reminisce about the Palace. As reported by Mirror, in one excerpt from Spare, Prince Harry wrote, “Meg and I moved our office into Buckingham Palace. We also moved into a new home. Frogmore was ready.” Adding to it, he mentioned how they had been in love with that place since the first minute.

“It felt as if we were destined to live there,” wrote Prince Harry in remembrance of the Frogmore Cottage. The Palace holds more significance to the couple not only as a pair but also as parents. It was in the Frogmore itself that their firstborn, Prince Archie, took his first steps into the premises of the royal building. The couple lived there for a couple of years post their marriage.
But soon, a fallout with the family only resulted in parting ways with this precious place that holds uncountable memories of the Duke and his family.

The issues clearly stated that the couple now needed to vacate the Frogmore Cottage, which was serving the senior members of the royal residents. The King reportedly planned on a slimmed-down monarchy. He was quite careful about who he wanted to represent The Crown on a global front.
