Despite years of separation, the silence has done little to heal the past wounds of broken relationships. Prince Harry and Prince William find them stranded to this day, without a word, even if they stood just mere yards but worlds apart from each other. The family funeral, which had members share a moment of grief and putting past differences to bed, did not go well for the princes drifted apart because of royal duties and family priorities. 

All that stood was a chasm between them that seemed wider than ever, giving a stark reminder that some wounds refuse to heal with time alone.

As reported by the Sun, the Thursday funeral of Princess Diana's brother-in-law and Queen Elizabeth's former private secretary, Lord Fellowsles, failed to bring the brothers closer. The outlet reported that two royal princes sat apart and did not utter a word to each other in the discreet appearance. They were only “five yards from each other," reported The Sun, yet did not make any attempts to amend their broken ties. The sitting arrangement was made as such to keep the brothers the farthest, said mourners. 

A mourner revealed to outlets that the couple sat apart at the service, two to three rows from the front, on opposite sides of the aisle. Family members filled the seats between them, suggesting a deliberate arrangement, said the local visitors. This unusual seating configuration had raised eyebrows in curiosity about their relationship dynamics. People took turns to talk to them before it was all over in a moment, and Prince Harry drove off in a Range Rover.

Nothing of this, however, comes new, as it seems the brothers have sworn not to speak in public. 

Ever since the renunciation, there has been little to no show of unity except for the time the four walked shoulder to shoulder at the former Queen's funeral. Following that, Prince Harry's explosive revelations in the memoir and the bombshell Netflix documentary have further severed the ties. 

Recent reports suggest that the back-to-back foreign tours of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not going down well with those at the Palace. Reports have it that the couple has infuriated the future king, with talks to them getting into action. There has been no contact whatsoever that has been made public to the royal fans and citizens.
