Sarah Hewson, royal editor of Talk TV, stated in The Sun’s Fabulous that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were upset by the Prince and Princess of Wales’ growing popularity in the United States. They also feared becoming “isolated” if Prince William and Kate Middleton continued to grow their fan base. Hewson further stated that the elder royal had a “whole army of female fans,” and that Kate appeared to be a “queen in waiting.”

Hewson claimed that following Prince Harry’s explosive memoir Spare, Prince William and Kate Middleton were concerned about how the public would react to these revelations. However, much to their surprise, the public sided with them. While talking about Middleton, the expert added that Americans “love her.” According to the media outlet, this surge could have been the result of employing prominent Hollywood producer Dame Pipa Harris as the director of their Royal Foundation.

For quite some time, rumors about the Royals’ fractured relationship had circulated. However, this was not the first time that royal experts had expressed their opinions on the royal schism.

The red-headed Prince seemed to have struggled to be apart from his family and friends. Phil Dampier, a royal analyst who studied the royal family for over 30 years, told the Sun’s Fabulous a few days back that the Prince was lonely and “isolated” in California. According to the expert, he was “completely dependent” on his wife Meghan Markle for much of his social life. He went on to explain why this might have been the case.

The expert continued to say that the prince may have been missing his “old friends” and “drinking buddies” with whom he could unwind in Montecito, which had a greater, older population. That toll was also visible on his face, as he appeared “lonely” at parties and functions. Dampier added that the one relationship that was beyond repair now was with his older brother, Prince William.
