The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle harbor quite a subjective stardom throughout the world. A chunk of the royal fandom does not hesitate to name themselves as the Sussex squad. Whereas the rest of them do not get tired of dishing dirt at the self-exiled duo. Long story short, the couple is always in the limelight, but not always on the positive side. Recently, the couple has bombed on TikTok, reveals a trend analysis.

New York Post citing Newsweek, laid bare research by Hootsuite to describe the trends on the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex. For those unversed, Hootsuite is a social media management platform used to break down algorithms of a particular trend spiking up on the internet.

Citing the results of scraping through TikTok’s search bar, the outlet revealed the Sussexes have largely influenced youngsters. Sourced from original content, both videos were from the now-defunct Ellen DeGeneres daytime show. However, although most people were critical of the pair, the tags related to the glorified members of the royal family were not pleasing as well.

The first three topped with 11 billion views, with Middleton following the lead at 10.

Keywords attached with Middleton were, however, no largely different from her supposed rival, Meghan Markle. Terms like tennis,” “rude,” “paparazzi,” and “coronation came synonymous with the Princess of Wales on the platform ruled by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Just like the ravaging media and tabloids, the “Crowd on TikTok loves to compare the two, but the overall consensus is that they seem to favor Kate,” Kwok said.
