Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Still Holding On to Their $25,000,000 Deal With Spotify Despite the Outrage?
When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their exit from the royal family and landed themselves a seat in Oprah Winfrey’s interview, the odds were definitely in their favor. Celebrities far and wide expressed support for the couple on their social media handles while fans were enamored by what they, at that time, deemed the couple’s courage and honesty. They also earned themselves a lucrative deal with not one but two streaming giants: Netflix and Spotify. This supply of unabashed love support by fans and lucrative deals by streamers did not stay for long in the couple’s lives.

In the month of June, following an extended inactivity on the Sussexes’ behalf, Spotify and Archewell in a joint statement said that they had decided to part ways upon mutual agreement. Yet what followed for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry was an outcry of “grifters“ and a mass shunning by their popular friends. However, the couple still seem to be holding on to it as their website, Archewell.com, still reads “Archewell Audio will join Spotify and their global reach.”

Given how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been busy attending polo events, jamming at Beyoncé concerts, losing friends, and gaining publicity at the Invictus Games, it is understandable how they might have forgotten to update their website. However, the royal family has been keeping its website quite updated ever since the Sussexes went from being senior royals to Californian royals. Not long ago, around the time of the Spotify deal falloff, a royal website update rendered Prince Harry devoid of the ‘HRH’ title.
Prince Harry and, naturally, Meghan Markle’s titles have been in constant jeopardy since their exit. While the couple seems to have made amends in their case, they are still holding on to the royal titles of their children with a death grip. As reports of the Sussex kids likely not having many royal privileges keep finding their way back to the spotlight owing to the severed ties between the families, the Californian couple remains relentless as they continue to use ‘Prince’ and ‘Princess’ while publicly addressing their kids.
