According to an exclusive report by Daily Mail, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have purchased a vacation home in Portugal, marking their return to Europe after being asked to vacate their royal residence, Frogmore Cottage in 2023. Although the exact location of their new home is unclear, speculation suggests it may be within the luxury CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, dubbed the "Hamptons of Portugal".

The Portuguese residence comes with a valuable perk, the "Golden Visa". This program grants the Duke and the Duchess visa-free travel throughout the European Union's Schengen area, including France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. For Meghan Markle, a US citizen, this is particularly beneficial, especially since she abandoned her bid for British citizenship after stepping back from royal duties in 2020.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly enjoyed a romantic getaway to Portugal in 2023, following the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany, as reported by Nova Gente. This European escapade marked a return to the continent for the couple, who previously resided at Frogmore Cottage until last year. Their travels had already sparked speculation about potential future residences.

Reports had it that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also been eyeing a property in Malibu, although no deal has been finalized. Their interest in expanding their real estate portfolio comes as no surprise, given their desire to establish a strong foundation for their family of four. With their travels and business ventures, the Sussexes continue to forge their own path, balancing family life and public engagements.
