Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a shift from the Duke’s home base back in the year of 2020. Choosing the Hollywood capital instead of the UK, the now California-based couple got on the works for their very own production company, Archewell Productions. Moreover, it gave the family of four more space to develop their own careers after letting go of their Royal duties. Soon, the Californian couple got busy when they signed a multi-million deal with the streaming giant, Netflix. Harry and Meghan shed light on the couple’s life for the first time after the Megxit. 

With the ongoing success of the first episode of Heart of Invictus, the couple is enjoying the Suits actress’ return to her home country. Amidst focusing on their careers, the Sussexes are planning to move homes again. But it is definitely not back to the United Kingdom. 

Prince Harry and family to make a move closer to the main hub

The couple currently lives in Montecito with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in their $14 million mansion, a little far away from Hollywood. But in recent news from TMZ, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex eyeing a $8 million Malibu property which is a mere 13 miles away from the center. TMZ sources have revealed that the couple intends to sell their $6 million costlier home in Montecito for the Malibu house. Not only would it keep them closer to Beverly Hills and LA but also give them the privilege of enjoying Hollywood luxuries. 

The couple has chosen the shore-based mansion with a swimming pool and a 10K square feet residence. With a long driveway perched up on the Pacific Coast, the couple will definitely enjoy the sprawling area with the ocean view. With plans in motion, the couple might incur a $10 million bill in construction costs. 

While the couple have found their home in California, a royal author cited a different reason for their choice of stay between the UK and America. 

Family to not move to UK because Meghan Markle cannot do one thing 

Harry and Meghan revealed many things, and one among them was the famous curtsy joke. In the documentary, Markle commented about how she was not very affluent in the gesture and could not get it right. While the Netflix documentary had already caused waves in the media, the courtesy joke stayed with a royal author, Andrew Morton. Morton recently commented on Sky News about how the couple would obviously not shift to the UK.

Since Markle would not bow to the future Queen, Kate Middleton, they would choose to stay in California. Moreover, they already had lives up and running in the US. But reports of peace talks and a visit home are in the works for Prince Harry.
