According to NBC News, the morning bulletin reported on a surprising slip by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in association with their foundation. The founders have been branded 'delinquent' after the state of California imposed certain restrictions on their foundation. The duo, as of now, is not allowed to raise money to dispense funds. A letter has been issued by the Registry of Charities and Fundraisers on behalf of California Attorney General Rob Bonta.
According to the outlets, the letter notified the not-for-profit that, "An organization that is listed as delinquent is not in good standing." Apart from this, Archewell is "prohibited" from "soliciting or disbursing charitable funds”. The letter further states that the organization needs to submit the records lest they face penalties or even revocation if required.
Despite the brutal allegations, there still lies a solution for Sussex organization to haul itself out of the mess.

The reason behind this allegation comes as the couple has failed to pay the annual registration fee or the annual report of the foundation's year-long operations. A source close to the foundation has revealed it to the outlet of the mishap. It said the group's initial check was misplaced by the authorities, but the payment has been resubmitted. A new check is thus on its way to the officials, which should solve the issue in the coming days.
Despite Archewell’s submission, however, the organization will be charged with a late fee by the Californian Justice system. The notice was issued on May 3rd, said the outlet. No further response has been let out by the Californian Attorney General following the source’s statements. While the couple had a successful Nigerian trip and the Invictus victory in the UK without a no-show from Buckingham, this set back added to their hurdles.
