An expert hinted that the Duke and Duchess should be circling back to their initial ventures where they have already shone brightly in the past!

Experts suggest that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be shaping their public image and career trajectories this year. As reported by Geo News, Culture expert Nick Ede advised the Sussexes to streamline their focus instead of being “jacks of all trades”. Ede also felt that the Duchess of Sussex should focus on lifestyle topics. Meanwhile, he recommended the Duke to direct his energy toward the Invictus Games rather than branching out into Hollywood’s entertainment industry.

“They have to go back to basics,” said the expert. The Sussexes have been striving to make a mark in Hollywood ever since they relocated from the UK. However, their Netflix deal has only produced two projects so far. Their partnership with Spotify also ended on a bitter note. Shifting the focus back to proven strengths like the Invictus Games or Markle’s lifestyle projects might be a strategic move to shaping their public image.

Considering the sudden spike in approval among Americans, however, there is still a fair chance of them breaking into Hollywood.

One year after the Netflix show controversy, the Sussexes have staged a comeback in the affections of Americans. Redfield & Wilton poll for Newsweek recently conducted a poll and quizzed 1,500 Americans to understand their sentiments towards the Sussexes. 

As per the poll, the Sussexes are back on track with their highest net approval ratings in ten rounds of polling. This shift in the public’s perspective was majorly due to the Sussexes’ decision to steer clear of any more royal controversies. Considering this surge in popularity and approval, it is safe to say that any career move the couple decides to make will likely garner a massive response.
