As exclusively reported by PEOPLE, the family celebrated a private birthday bash for their youngest star quite in a typical Sussex way; shrouded in secrecy, but abounding with joy. The Duke and the Duchess got their hands on the festivities early on with a pre-birthday bash as a prelude to the big day on June 4. As the outlet reads, the celebrations included some of the closest Sussex allies and a few of Princess Lilibet's friends.

According to the outlet, the Sussex family of four, accompanied by their guests, marked the special occasion with an intimate celebration. The royals preferred an in-home birthday bash at their Montecito, California abode over the weekend, surrounded by love, laughter, and all the goodwill of a private family gathering. No pictures of the big day have been released so far.

Affectionately known as Lilibet by those closest to her at Buckingham Palace, the Queen's nickname has been passed down to the next generation. Princess Lilibet, the youngest member of the Sussex family was named after the former monarch while retaining the name Diana, from her grandmother, Lady Di. She was born on June 4, 2021, in Montecito, California. Unlike her brother's highly publicized birth, Princess Lilibet's arrival was a private affair.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had already renounced their royal titles, which indeed deprived Princess Lili from her royal relatives but not from her well-wishers. Actor and philanthropist Tyler Perry, long a friend to her parents, has served as her Godfather on her christening, while her UK blood relatives pulled a no-show. Moreover, grandmother and mother to Meghan Markle, Doria Ragland, is a frequent visitor.
