Following the Megxit, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a barrage of criticism and scrutiny from the media and several royal specialists has been unleashed on the Californian royals. The icing on the cake, however, was laid down by animated sitcoms. The saga began with South Park and now Family Guy has hopped on the wagon. However, the Sussexes are not willing to take it silently this time.

Days after becoming the butt of another joke on television, a source close to the royal has revealed their true feelings about the aforementioned problematic episode.

A source told Closer magazine, as reported by the New York Post, that the couple are in “full panic mode.” This hysteria is the outcome of Family Guy’s “savage” episode, which satirized their $100 million Netflix deal for their docuseries Harry and Meghan. The couple has been in the news for a variety of reasons. While some of it is for good reasons, others have left them feeling as if “they’re not being” taken seriously. The royals also believe they “can’t catch a break” and have dubbed the incident an “outrageous slur.”

According to the insider, the royals are dealing with the satirical blow with panic and heightened concern. They also believe this is an attack from “inside Hollywood.” While discussing Markle, the source revealed that she “won’t be humiliated” in this manner and that she is seeking a desperate option.  Given that this was not the first time they were mocked on television, the couple is determined to not let it happen again.

In February, South Park, the longest-running adult animated series, had poked fun at the red-headed monarch and his wife with their version of ‘The Prince of Canada and his wife.’ The episode, titled The Worldwide Peace Tour, attempted to film the royals seeking peace and seclusion in a remote mountain town. The Canadian Prince had marketed his memoir “Waaagh in this episode, a humorous allusion to Prince Harry’s Spare. Additionally, the episode included the characters picking up a sign that said, “Stop looking at us.”

Despite the fact that the Duke and Duchess were not formally referenced in the program, the red-haired Prince and his wife’s attire had one too many similarities to the Sussexes. The royals were reportedly rumored to be contemplating legal action against the show. However, their spokesperson had put these rumors to rest and stated that these were “baseless and boring.”
