Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s rift with the royal family has gone lengthier than Shakespearean plays but tragedy remains the only trope visible here. Although the Duke has taken a step forward to mend his relationship with King Charles, the same was not the destiny of the estranged brothers and his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton. Reconciliation has always been a possibility, especially with the Prince feeling more drawn to home lately. However, any moves to mend fences are expected from the Sussexes first, not from Prince William or Middleton.

Recent reports even suggest the Duke and the Duchess are subtly pressured to make the first move.

Prince Harry’s yearning for home is very valid, having been away from the royal soil for four long years. However, such a possibility seems out of reach unless the rift between the estranged brothers, Meghan Markle, and Kate Middleton, gets resolved. On the Palace Confidential podcast by Daily Mail (via The Sun), royal expert Richard Eden explained that reconciliation will only be in the cards when the Sussexes come forward and apologize. 

Eden has lately been speaking to people regarding the potential of their amendment, and more or less everyone feels similarly. “They need to apologize, at least privately,” the expert laid bare his opinion before adding a what-if. While Eden points out what the Sussexes need to do, he still thinks reconciliation is tricky, citing how can Prince William or Middleton ever truly trust something would not pop up later on a “TV program or in a book?”

It looks like the Sussex nightmares truly have no end, especially for Markle, who was reportedly afraid of her issues with Middleton becoming a catalyst for losing the Prince.

The royal rift between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Prince William, Kate Middleton has regal fans still in a tug of war on who started it first. But it looks like even after the Sussexes' relocation Stateside, Markle remains restless since according to GB News, a source close to them claims she has “major issues” with the Prince getting close to the royal family again. 

The Duchess of Sussex allegedly feels more stable with the Duke by her side in the US. However, his spending time with Prince William and Middleton makes her afraid Prince Harry will soon find himself engaged with the royal farm. But from the reports that have come across more recently, such a possibility is unlikely anytime soon, with the claims of the Sussexs’ apology being the only way to reconcile.
