The aftermath of the same did not really help heal the damages made. However, the couple who actually had it in the world was as carefree as they always have been.
Recently revealed by Insider, the self-exiled couple made their first-ever joint public appearance and landed themselves in a lavish restaurant. The Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dates are no less than a public event, at least for the paparazzi. Soon after the pandemic gave us all a break, the Californian royals were out on a lunch date after their Bombshell interview. The owner was all praises for the two. Melba Wilson the owner of the New York-based restaurant was as amazed as all of us are. However, she had her own reasons.

Opening up to the outlet, the chef revealed that her life changed upside down after the Duke and the Duchess graced her place. “I was really honored that he picked up the chicken with his fingers — he used the proper etiquette!” exclaimed Wilson. Although a royal, the writer at present, was surprised to see Prince Harry giving in the typical way of taking delight in her special dish just like any other foodie.

Before the couple arrived, tabloids, as usual, and other sources, had made it the talk of the two that the two royals would be lunching at Wilson’s restaurant. However, when the news reached her, she went into complete denial. “I thought someone was playing a joke on me when I found out they were coming,” Wilson told Insider.

“I thought I was being punked,” she added. Nonetheless, it was the Duke and the Duchess themselves who happened to grab lunch like any couple in the city. The duo might sideline their fame, however, the world is always going to hold them in the spotlight. Ever since the duo graced the place, NYC’s Melba’s now serves as a common hotspot for Tinseltown bigwigs.
