Most would agree that 2023 was chock full of events that kept the world glued to their phones in wonderment. However, the way in which Prince Harry brought the world to a standstill by spilling some scalding hot tea on the royals through his memoir, Spare, deserves a special mention. An X (previously Twitter) post relayed the Duke’s relevancy in 2023 by pointing out how Spare sold 3.2 million copies in its first week itself.

Well, the tell-all book not only earned various accolades but also shed light on the previously hidden intricate happenings in the British royal household. In it, the father of two alleged such shocking mistreatment of him and his wife at the hands of his family that it left millions across the world transfixed. Not to forget how his and Meghan Markle’s actions turned them into characters on South Park and Family Guy too.

Meanwhile, the queen of pop, Taylor Swift, was establishing her stronghold in the world of music and concert films with The Eras Tour. 

Another thing that kept Taylor Swift in the headlines was her emerging romance with Travis Kelce. According to the X post, the NFL star’s jerseys sold 400% more than his previous sales records. Still, it was faded in comparison to Swift becoming Time’s Person of The Year. All in all, it was certainly an eventful year for all these celebrities.
