“Play the….” – Arnold Schwarzenegger Reveals the Words of Wisdom by Clint Eastwood That Helped the 75-Year-Old Legend

While there are plenty who wax poetic about the evergreen craft that is cinema, the contrary seems to be the case for its pioneers. A star’s age is deemed as an obstacle, so much so that they become doubtful of themselves. However, Clint Eastwood was not one of them. And neither will be Schwarzenegger. After a comeback with FUBAR, the actor is taking Clint Eastwood’s route to a Conan the Barbarian sequel. Naming Clintwood’s masterpiece Unforgiven, he said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, “I think you do it like Unforgiven, where you play the age,” when asked about age being an obstacle.
Unforgiven is a cult classic that many still pop into their DVD players. Eastwood, who was 62 years old then, brought to life the character of William Munny in the wild west of America. The perfection of which will be discussed till the end of times.
Now that he has said it, one cannot get the idea of a Conan the Barbarian sequel with the OG cast out of mind. But is it only wishful thinking?
