The American star stated he can relate to these things because he lost his father at age 7 during a terrorist attack. He continued he has seen many pictures of kids suffering due to the ongoing war. It shook him inside out and made him recall the difficult phase of his life. Davidson emphasized that no one in the world deserves to go through such dreadful things, especially kids. The Suicide Squad star further dwelled back on his childhood after his father passed away.
The former SNL member revealed he almost forgot how to smile or laugh and his mom tried hard to make him happy. However, one day when he watched the Eddie Murphy stand-up special Delirious that laughter came back. So comedy became his escape in the moments of tragedy and he felt it could help others too.
