Meghan Markle may have married into the royal family of Britain and become the Duchess of Sussex now, but she has always been at the center of the limelight, or at least in pursuit of it. Suits helped Markle achieve the goal that she had been so dutifully working towards and hence there is no doubt that the series holds a special place in her heart. And despite the constant brouhaha, it seems that the feeling is mutual.

Having enjoyed one wave of success during its runtime, the show enjoyed another more tremendous one recently, and while Markle was nowhere to be seen at the Suits reunion, Patrick J. Adams revealed how she was with them at heart.

Success has a funny way of revisiting old flames, even when their leading lady has gone on to grander stages. This is most definitely true for Meghan Markle and Patrick J. Adams, who had quite the run with each other on the show. And despite the obvious and much-discussed distance that has ensued between the Duchess of Sussex and the Suits cast, when asked about how he feels about one of his co-stars being a royal, Admas ended up revealing how Markle had shot him a "sweet text" when she had learned of the podcast while responding to a fan on Reddit.

The actor further added how great it was to still have a friendship despite spending so many years apart from each other. This is in contrast to all the allegations about the Duchess of Sussex seemingly not getting along well with her cast members after becoming a royal. Adams revealed how the Duchess even asked if there was something she could help with.

While he did not reveal how Markle implied she could help, one cannot imagine if it had been in reference to the Suits podcast.

As Suits shot up the charts again, fans were amazed to see what the cast of the show was up to now. And this amusement only grew tenfold when they decided to create a podcast where they would rewatch the show, eventually dropping tidbits and behind-the-scenes intel. However, the absence of Meghan Markle was as loud as ever. While she may have offered a sweet text to Patrick J. Adams, she is yet to respond to Sarah Rafferty's invite.

Markle and Rafferty may not be thick as thieves now, but back when they were co-stars, the two had only praises for each other. Therefore, with the latter now extending an invitation to Markle to join them for a fun rewatch, Markle's reply would be a turning point.
