Sydney Sweeney, despite being pushed into the limelight through the most stereotypical roles, proved with her choices that while she is definitely Hollywood's blonde babe, that is not all. From putting forth a commendable and grounded performance in Reality to bringing back the romantic comedy genre with Anyone But You, the actress' professional endeavors has only been the cherry on top of the already incessant interest in her, leading to several hazardous run-ins with the paparazzi.

Perhaps the best of roles, however, are those announced by Sweeney herself while she targets two birds with one stones: calling out the paparazzi for its wrongs while adding a quite literally golden element to her filmography.

While celebrities spotting a cameraman hidden in the most glaring of places ranging from bushes to trash cans is a tale old as time, Sydney Sweeney has done the unordinary by taking matters into her now suspiciously toned arms. Instead of ignoring the ordeal, Sweeney approached the matter with the same panache she reserves for her on-camera roles. And just as fans were beginning to anticipate her upcoming instructional series, Bush-Whacking for Beginners, she threw them another punch, as she announced her next role as Christy Martin, the former professional boxer.

One might say that Sweeney had been simply training for the part. And while there still lies some truth to it, the actress seems to have made an active decision to not entertain any intrusions into her personal life anymore. This has also had fellow Spider-verse celebrities like Andrew Garfield also jumping on the bandwagon to call out the toxic lengths to which the paparazzi go to earn their next new bit.

While the actress' call out of the media has been gaining momentum, the shining jewel of this diamond clad announcement had to be her taking up the character of Christy Martin.

If versatility is a weapon, then Sydney Sweeney is weaving it with deadly precision and the latest shift in her arms from summer toned to 'I can knock you out' toned is proof of the same. While fans had been awaiting her entry into Marvel as Gwen Stacey, it seems she has stuck to standalone for now. The actress will be playing the acclaimed former professional boxer, Christy Martin in an untitled biopic.

While the actress did state in her Instagram announcement that she had been training hard, she did not have to as her muscles spoke for her, much like her choice in movies is going to speak of her greatness. The upcoming boxer biopic is not merely a tale of grit but also one of survival, as it entails the murder attempt on Christy Martin by her husband that she survived by a thin hair. Although the name of the movie is yet to be cemented, David Michôd, known for his action extravaganzas, will be directing the movie.
