Even though both the actor’s representatives did coin the separation as “mutual”, the heartbreak blues were in the air. Following the breakup, the divorce paper details highlighted a piece of fresh information about the couple being separated since April 2007. While the couple was equally disinclined in scissoring out the reasons in public, Esposito did talk about the relationship not being “right” to CBS News in 2011.

Before his wedding with Esposito, Cooper met Renée Zellweger in 2006 while filming for Case 39. Following closely, the Oscar nominee began making headlines with Zoe Saldaña from December 2011 to January 2013.

This relationship too had an expiry date, unfortunately. Shortly after, the actor also dated Suki Waterhouse for two years from 2013 to 2015.
