Shortly after Robert Downey Jr. won his first-ever Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in Oppenheimer, he took a look back on his journey to success. In an interview with PEOPLE, the actor opened up about his long journey in Hollywood. The 58-year-old stated that developing a “moral psychology” made things “a lot easier” after he had to make his comeback after his run-ins with the law.
He also revealed that his journey had made him “a little bit skeptical about anyone who doesn’t lean into what they can do to improve the state of their compass.” That was when his wife, Susan, added, “There’s nothing we would do differently.” Although it had taken years, the couple had finally reached where they wanted to be. Recently, the official teaser of the series made its way online and left fans in a frenzy. The clip showed Downey portraying 4 different characters. However, they were each more eccentric than the last. The film will also be starring Sandra Oh, Hoa Xuande, and more.
