Adrien Brody joined Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, and Penn Badgley at the Courchevel Altiport for the Moncler Grenoble Fall/Winter 2025 show in the French Alps. Shortly after the clips and snaps filled social media with sneak peeks of the winter wonderland’s couture showcase, The Brutalist actor shared a selfie with Chastain on Instagram, flaunting high fashion in freezing temperatures. However, what turned many heads was Brody’s #bondvillain hashtag, leaving the audience in a daze if it meant what it hinted.
“🏔️ chilling like a #bondvillain with @jessicachastain and our friends @moncler,” the Oscar-winner captioned the post. Maybe his all-black ensemble had him feeling like a Bond baddie, or perhaps, he could be dropping early hints about what awaits the future of the James Bond rebooted universe. Although there is a lack of details surrounding his teasers, Brody surely knows how to leave fans guessing amidst the ongoing conversations surrounding Bond’s return.
While Adrien Brody’s Bond-esque clues are the right time for fans to put on their detective hats and put every Bond expertise to play, the Oscar-winner is not the only actor from The Brutalist rounding out the discussions of the James Bond reboot.
Which actor besides Adrien Brody from The Brutalist has circled James Bond discussions?
Long before Amazon MGM Studios took over the acquisition of the blockbuster James Bond franchise, conversations were rampant surrounding the most deserving sleuth candidate for the reboot. Several stars threw their picks and during the red carpet entries at this year’s Academy Awards, Joe Alwyn from The Brutalist enrolled his name too. In a conversation with Variety, the host asked Alwyn if he would be interested in portraying 007 after he appeared on fan-casting lists.

“Who wouldn’t want to throw their hat in the ring, you know? Yeah,” Alwyn said. He even added in jest that he would be all ready “if you’re offering.” He was also asked about his martini preferences and whether he liked it “shaken or stirred,” a nod to James Bond’s go-to beverage, the Vesper. “I like both. I do, I do. That’s the problem,” Alwyn joked. Although nothing is said and done in the forthcoming James Bond remake, the franchise now has more star power to bank on since the Oscar halls are buzzing for attention.
