It all started with Kim Kardashian’s statement in her family’s Variety profile. Kardashian urged women to “get your f***ing a** up and work” in her interview. As soon as the interview surfaced, many former interns of the Kardashians came forward to voice their grievances. Celene Zavala, who worked as an intern assistant to Kim Kardashian for five months, accused the fashion mogul of making her work for free.
She also shared a post from writer and critic Jessica DeFino. DeFino claimed to receive a meager wage while working on Kardashian’s app in 2015.
