During the premiere of Fargo season 5, Littlefield remembered Matthew Perry as the brilliant and one of the sweetest guys. He said Perry was, “Perhaps one of the funniest people who’s ever been on earth,” while praising him for his comic brilliance to Deadline Hollywood.

The late actor had also admitted to training his friend, Craig Bierko, for Chandler’s role. His benevolent nature of giving up the role for his friend impressed Littlefield a great deal.
