There is no denying the fact that Wrexham has been putting up a show for the fans on the field. However, their off-the-field feats are equally impressive. Recently, the oldest Welsh club took an initiative for a social cause.

Growing mustache in November has been an annual practice to raise awareness about men’s health causes. Keeping that in mind, Wrexham star striker Ollie Palmer has joined the cause as he sported a completely new look. Palmer, popular for his long beard and flamboyant looks, completely shaved off his facial hair. The Red Dragons star put on the new look to join his other Wrexham mates who are raising money to support prostate cancer patients.
While the cause is surely commendable, the player’s kids do not seem to be a fan of the look. Ollie Palmer shared his new look on Instagram as he penned how his kids do not recognize him without the beard. The striker recorded his entire experience as his kids yelled “Who are you” and “What’s your name” in the background.
As hilarious as it may sound, the player admitted that he received immense verbal and even physical abuse at home from his distraught son. Irrespective of the shocking response from his family members, Palmer put on a bright smile as he urged his fans to donate to the cause. The star striker’s new look has garnered a series of reactions from fans online, with a few even comparing him with his dear friend co-owner Rob McElhenney.
Palmer has also been having a great time in the Second Division.
