“Objects of mockery”-Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Have Been Warned Against Another “Royal Tour”
It has always been pretty black and white for the estranged royals of the United Kingdom, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Ever since their renunciation, things have either gone downhill or have shot up to its pinnacle for the royal couple. Needless to say that as the latter has been a great source of headache for the ones in Buckingham, their periodic downfall must have balanced it all out. The couple recently embarked on a Nigerian tour.
However, what initially posed as a “huge success” for the Sussexes, has now turned into a catastrophe for the former working royals.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliam, went on for an explosive interview with the Mirror who weighed on how the Sussexes have stumbled upon their face through the unofficial royal tour. Although he referred to the tour, as a “high-profile success,” he has warned the royals from pulling out any more international stunts. Had they opted to stay in and not out, none of it would have been a problem. However, for now, “another quasi-royal tour might make the Sussexes objects of mockery,” said the royal expert.
Now that they have chosen to, “returning on their terms but without a purpose would be meaningless,” claimed the expert. He also added how the Sussex couple was one of the best suited to embark on overseas tours, especially those of the commonwealth, in affiliation to the Crown. Nonetheless, they chose to give up on their entitlements and patronage. Hence, the warning, is to prevent them from becoming a laughing stock, as has already been claimed.
This warning comes ahead of an enormous blow to the Sussexes, which hit after the Nigerian first lady entered the scene.

Nigeria’s First Lady Reno Tinubu has taken a swipe at the Duchess following Markle’s recent visit to the country, slamming Hollywood’s culture of ‘nakedness.’ “Why did Meghan come here looking for Africa?” she said in a public engagement further cautioning Nigerian women against indecent dressing, stating that it contradicts Nigerian cultural values.
She criticized how they are not having a “Met gala, and everyone's nakedness is just everywhere,” said Tinubu in an interview with Arise News. We do not accept nakedness in our culture, she added, urging fashion icons to give to the Nigerian people as they have it and not overstep the mark.
