Ever since Megxit, the Britain-American connections have grown stronger, but for the wrong reasons. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry moved their base to America, trying to have roots in the entertainment industry. Considering their royal status and the drama surrounding in-laws’ issues, the biggest of hosts, like Oprah Winfrey, sat them for an explosive session of spilling the royal beans.

From the Duchess of Cambridge to Prince Harry’s friends, a sudden spotlight shone upon them as the Sussexes’ experiences with these individuals came to light, revealing potentially negative encounters or perceptions. While things came to a halt after the late Queen Elizabeth’s demise, the ‘Spare’ memoir further caused agony for the Royals. But sources suggest that winds of change may have arrived, bringing a sigh of relief to the new King now.

The Royal members suddenly became the target of American tabloids as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry began talking. But according to New York Post, the duo will no longer be bashing the Royals. A source reveals that the Sussex’s will no longer be mentioning the Royals on-screen, whether through interviews or docuseries. This apparently has brought a sigh of relief to the newly crowned King Charles.

Members of the Royal family have been afraid to say or do anything around the couple in order to avoid landing in the Sussex’s content. The results of their constant talk certainly cost the recent coronation. A lot of celebrities denied performing at the coronation concert owing to the controversies the Royal Family got into in recent times, as was reported by Page Six.

But the two have found Archwell Productions and have cut a major deal with Netflix. So how will the platform get affected by this?

Netflix apparently signed a $100 million deal with Archwell Foundation for multiple projects, including the docuseries ‘Harry & Meghan‘. The contract also included documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted shows, and children’s programming, as was reported by Forbes. While the nature of the content is not known, it seems that the varied range would not affect the deal with Netflix.

The cancellation of the animated series, Pearl by Netflix, gave an early insight that the deal would not only cater to royal content but would explore different horizons. The animated series was about a 12-year-old girl. The girl gets inspired by influential women throughout history and was one of the first by Archwell. The series was canceled due to the Netflix cutbacks that also included shows like Dino Daycare and Boons and Curses. Nevertheless, it seems that the new King can take a sigh now.
