These days, Prince Harry's life is at a very critical juncture. Not only is he juggling multiple roles as a father and a husband, but at the same time, he is bound by the duties of a son of the royal king with whom his personal differences cease to end. Ever since his unexpected and controversial move to the US, he and his family have found themselves at the forefront of many unsolicited actions of the Royal Family. The dramatic departure of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cost them the state security that every other royal in the UK enjoys, has become a source of unending pain.

As he puts up a fierce and strong fight to gain his rights back, things back home, especially with his father, are reportedly not going well.

Since his state security has been taken aback, Prince Harry has turned into a protector of his family and is involved in a long and exhausting battle with the UK security services. While this continues on one end, his relationship with his father continues to be an estranged one. PEOPLE magazine reports that a source close to the palace has claimed to them that there seems to be no reconciliation between the father and the son, saying “Nothing has changed.”

 Another source to add fuel to the fire by sharing that "they are distant". As reported by sources close to the young Prince's friends, the calls and letters to his father are not being answered. Moreover, the last time they both met in person was a year ago in February 2024 for a 30-minute meeting, after which King Charles made the news of his cancer diagnosis public. In fact, the differences are so high that Prince Harry learned about the hospitalization of his father from media reports in March.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a well known sacrifice when they left behind the long-held royal luxuries. But the issue of their security is a constant pain which Prince Harry believe his father has the power to solve.

In the middle of this chaotic situation, PEOPLE magazine also reported that Prince Harry has a feeling that his father, who is the ceremonial head of the state, has the power to change the course and grant back the state security to Prince Harry and his family. However, the Royal Palace has never spoken in favor of this sentence. This is more than just another Royal privilege.  It is a matter of the safety of his children and his wife, a big concern for him that he just cannot compromise on.

However, lately things have been very upsetting for Prince Harry and his family. While the news of him and Meghan Markle being forced out of the royal house was making rounds, another massive blow came down on him last week when he learned that snatching away their security might be his family's attempts to get them back, a fact that he found difficult to swallow. For now, the challenging relationship with his father is Prince Harry's biggest hurdle.
