Meanwhile, Elliot Lee and Ollie Palmer have also been incredibly impressive with their attacking. However, in a sneak peek from Welcome To Wrexham, the Deadpool star remarks on how Wrexham’s top goalscorer is not Paul Mullin, Ollie Palmer or Elliott Lee but Rosie Hughes.
An exclusive clip from Welcome To Wrexham episode 6 showcased Reynolds and Lively be in awe of watching Hughes play. However, the player is surely deserving of all praise. Hughes’s first season at Wrexham saw her netting 48 goals in just 21 appearances. The stats for her second season are even more impressive, as Hughes scored 42 goals in just 18 games. The number 9 hit 90 goals in just two seasons, making her one of the most prolific strikers in the Women’s league.
Meanwhile, the stats for Mullin are equally impressive. The former Morecambe star has scored 60 goals for the Red Dragons. Mullin had the most iconic start at Wrexham, finishing his first season as the highest goal scorer and Player of the Season for his club and National League.
Despite suffering a severe injury a while ago, Mullin recently made an incredible comeback.
