How exemplary it is that a show that ended 19 years back is still the comfort show for uncountable fans. We are talking about none other than the ’90s classic sitcom, Friends. Even though the show ended in 2004, fans still revisit the series to find warmth and peace. While the show is a gigantic hit, Matthew Perry admitted never watching the show. However, his co-star, Matt LeBlanc, also once talked about how he found it difficult to watch himself in the sitcom.

Matt Leblanc portrayed the fan-favorite character of Joey Tribbiani. Joey is an aspiring actor who has Chandler Bing, played by Matthew Perry, as his best friend. While Perry has a reason for not seeing himself on the screen, LeBlanc also once opened up about his difficulty in revisiting the show.

The remarkable sitcom is home for fans because they believe no matter what, this group of friends will always be there for them. However, the 56-year-old actor could not rewatch it. When the Man with a Plan star appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in 2019, he talked about his feelings for his character. While celebrating the sitcom’s return on Netflix, LeBlanc revealed he had been having a hard time watching the show those days. The reason was, “It makes me feel like I’m 100 years old,” as the American actor admitted.

When the Episodes actor appeared on The Tonight Show, Friends had already completed 15 years of its end. Since then, LeBlanc has achieved a lot and has grown as well. However, remembering those days, he revealed they really had fun making the show. Well, as much as the actors had fun making it, fans are having more fun watching it again and again.

After Friends ended, LeBlanc also got a spin-off series called Joey. The aftermath of Joey Tribbiani’s life was the focus of the spin-off, something that upset his co-stars, as Perry had mentioned in his book.
