Not Just ‘Euphoria’ Star Wanna Walton, Sydney Sweeney Also Has a Combat Sports Dream Of Herself
The HBO series that brought two of Hollywood’s youngest leading ladies, Sydney Sweeney and Zendaya, to the forefront, Euphoria has brought fame to many multi-talented actors in their youth. Besides Zendaya, who has branched out to now creating music, the series also featured Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton in the main role of Ashtray, who is now manifesting his dream of becoming a professional boxer. In August, he revealed his plans to step back from acting to focus on his sports career.
Two years ago, Sydney Sweney also revealed her aspirations for a similar dream of hers.

In an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show from 2021, Sydney Sweeney was asked about her spree with mixed martial arts. Well, the 26-year-old confessed to having trained for the combat sport dedicatedly with coaches who had trained MMA sensations like Ronda Rousey. Well, she did not just try out the sport and leave it at that. The Reality star was even revealed to have entered competitions.
Her parents encouraged her to try falling in love with as many things as possible. Eventually, this led to her training so diligently that she could even beat men in a higher weight class than hers. However, slated to be Hollywood’s next big thing, she was forced to put her aspirations aside to comply with her acting contracts that forbid her from getting injured. Still, she made time for MMA when she could.
As Wanna Walton makes strides towards his passion for boxing, Euphoria fans could not be more thrilled.

From the mere age of 15, Walton knew that he wanted to pursue boxing. The now 17-year-old has not only aced his portrayal of Ashtray in Euphoria so far, but also managed to impress many boxing enthusiasts and critics with his performances in the ring. After amassing 25 amateur category fights so far, the Euphoria actor will now begin his pro career soon. According to KTLA 5. his debut will happen sometime next year.
The young star from Atlanta is set to appear in San Juan’s El Coliseo de Puerto Rico for Amanda Serrano’s series. The same event will also feature the well-known YouTube personality Jake Paul as a fighter. For the fans of Walton who have marveled at his remarkable acting talent, the next step in his career seems to be just as exciting as his previous achievements.
