Not Just an Action Extravaganza ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Is Much More for Ryan Reynolds
The upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman may not be an ambiguous project, but it has come to mean different things for different people. For Marvel, it is going to be their first R-rated movie and for audiences, it is anticipated to be the biggest release of this summer. However, it is what the movie has come to mean for Ryan Reynolds that makes all the difference.
The Wrexham AFC co-owner has for the longest time manifested Wolverine's return with the Deadpool franchise. As clear by his statement, the actor could not be any more grateful for this opportunity.

With just a few days to go before the ultimate product sees the light of day, Ryan Reynolds has taken to reflecting on the journey so far. While he had to endure the loss of a talented crew member and friend, the actor was full of love while filming Deadpool & Wolverine. In Empire Magazine's Deadpool & Wolverine issue, the actor reflected on how, despite their adversarial characters in the movie, "the undercurrent is one of real love."
The actor recalled how the time spent with Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy on the sets was nothing less than a fun rollercoaster ride as everyday he would wake up "with a passionate devotion" to say something extraordinarily dumbfounding and hilarious to get them laughing. It was clear by how Reynolds called their time on sets a "gift" that Blake Lively will meet quite the task this Christmas.
This was not the only time the Canadian actor oozed with the magic of friendship. The wrap up post in itself was a major tear-jerker.

While it is still undergoing some final cuts, the Deadpool & Wolverine movie officially wrapped up filming back in January. It was an occasion out of a book as the movie truly made it through many odds, or at least Ryan Reynolds believes so. Throughout the filming and even now, it seems that Reynolds has worn his heart not on his sleeve but on his Deadpool suit. This was evident as he confessed to the waterworks on the day they wrapped shooting.
Contrary to the emotional wreck that Reynolds was as he posted a picture with his Deadpool suit, Hugh Jackman could not have been happier to finally shave. Jackman did shoot cupid arrows at Reynolds and Levy and thanked them, but the photos of him smiling while sporting a clean shave stole the show.
