“…not be self-conscious about anything” – What Is the One Main Thing Sydney Sweeney Learned from the Sets of ‘Anyone But You’ with Glenn Powell?
When Sydney Sweeney came to New York for the Armani My Way event, nobody but she knew that she would be in the city for a long time. The 25-year-old made a stunning appearance at the Met Gala, and now she is busy promoting her upcoming film, Reality. While she was at the premiere of the film recently, she also opened up about yet another of her anticipated films, Anyone But You.
Sweeney told Indie Wire, “That’s what I learned, which was to have fun and be crazy and let loose and not be self-conscious about anything.” The film also stars Dermot Mulroney, Alexandra Shipp, Michelle Hurd, Darren Barnet, and Rachel Griffiths. It is directed by the famous director Will Gluck who is known for his films Easy A and Friends With Benefits.
Sweeney has so many special memories added to the film, as it was a completely new experience for the actress.
How is Anyone But You different than the other projects of Sydney Sweeney?
Since the Spokane native began her acting journey, she has primarily starred in heavy-hearted projects. Be it Cassie Howard from Euphoria, Alice from Sharp Objects, or Eden Blaine from The Handmaid’s Tale, Sweeney has always portrayed serious characters. For a very long time, her fans wanted to see her in a rom-com, and so did she. So, when she got the chance to star in this rom-com filled with an amazing cast and crew, she not only decided to act in it but also acted as an executive producer.
The film is all set to release on December 15 this year and will be a whole new rom-com adventure. Let’s see if the film turns out to be as funny as Sweeney has described it.
