Not a Royal Shoutout, but This Is What Meghan Markle Needs to Do to Ensure the Success of Her Brand, Claims Expert

Meghan Markle may have bought a million-dollar mansion in an elite society when she moved across the pond with her royal husband, but she still stands on murky grounds. This is as clear as day as the Duchess gears up to launch her lifestyle brand, which, although in the making, has stirred enough debates to make one anticipate the aftermath of its launch.

Given the past debacles, especially the Spotify falloff, it remains crucial that the Sussexes play their cards right. While this, as per the former actress' understanding, meant a shoutout from her royal in-laws, a PR expert believes otherwise.

As reports of the Duchess of Sussex planning to put her most luxe foot forward in the wine business surfaced, it was rumored that the Duchess was set to seek support from her royal family. However, PR Expert, Renae Smith, told the Express that Meghan Markle just needs to focus on "how well the brand story is communicated." This once again puts the focus back on the Duchess and her much-discussed media savvy.

The PR Expert was of the belief that Markle's brand hinges on what narrative she chooses to spin with it. Given how the former actress had quietly launched the American Riviera Orchard Instagram account and sent out gift baskets to her Hollywood allies decorated with what she has highly emphasized as 'all natural' goodies.

The $100 Million Netflix deal of the Sussexes, no matter how extravagant, can only sustain them for so long. Therefore, as the controversies evoked by them died down, countless business experts chimed in to emphasize how crucial it is for the Sussexes to build a sustainable business. And despite the odds not being in her favor, Meghan Markle is already at it, with some royal supporters in toe. While King Charles himself might not give her a shoutout, her husband and Princess Eugenie are expected to come through.

Prince Harry has always remained supportive of his wife's projects. However, given the deafening silence that Markle opted for during his memoir's launch, it remains to be seen whether the Duke will take a different route. Whereas for Princess Eugenie, she has remained a light in the dark for the Sussexes throughout the Megxit and even after. Regardless of the strategy she puts to use, Markle's brand launch is going to be an interesting one.
