For all we know, the Hollywood A-lister Henry Cavill has long established an undefeated feat in the Industry. Despite the numerous snubs, replacements, or controversies, the Man of Steel has always flown high chin-high with his iconic Superman suit. Not just the typical Superhero, the British giant has also nailed versatile roles such as the mighty Geralt of Rivia or the sharp-witted fictional character Sherlock Holmes alongside another Netflix star, Millie Bobby Brown. However, there is yet another genre the star would love to explore. 

When world issues could not turn down the Superhero, gender variant roles, of course, are no big deal. 

Playing gay is no big deal for Cavill

Back in the year 2015, the Enola Holmes lead, Henry Cavill, revealed a lot of the latest updates, his follow-ups, upcoming projects, and a lot more. As reported by the Guardian, the actor also spoke of his interest in playing a wide range of roles other than the typical of his superheroes. Confessing to the outlet, Cavill confessed how he does not mind adding gay roles to his portfolio. 

Taking into consideration the dynamics that come along with being homosexual, Cavill laughed it off stating he is all for it. For him, it does not come deliberately. It is not “like we said, ‘Let’s gay it up a bit.’ But two male leads, a buddy movie–it’s going to happen,” said the star. “A lot of straight guys would be like, ‘Oh, that’s a bit gay, I’m not doing that.’ But I’ll happily stand with my arm around my best mate in a pub. Not a problem,” said Henry Cavill.

Although considered a bit off-topic by traditional cinema, Henry Cavill would happily take it if given an opportunity to.

Henry Cavill is comfortable playing homosexual roles

Following the same, the star also spoke at length about how it was also quite comfortable for him to blend into the role. A bunch of others, from his tribe and himself, “are comfortable with our sexuality, so we’re not fearful of coming across as homosexual.”

However, all of his manifestations are still left as quotes in articles, as the star has not embarked on such a journey yet. Following the unhappy leave from The Witcher, and a cameo with Dwayne Johnson, the British A-lister is yet to make a comeback. Not just cameos, Johnson even enjoys having fun debates with the star as well.
