Known to share a close bond, Kim Kardashian and North West are among Hollywood’s most adorable mother-daughter duos. Like her mother, North is an absolute fashion enthusiast. When attending fashion shows or music concerts with Kardashian, she steps out decked in such contemporary couture that manages to even outshine her mother sometimes. Since the two spend a lot of time hand-in-hand, with that familiarity comes the kind of bravery a daughter needs to tell her mother the harshest of truths sometimes. 

At least that is what happened during their latest on-screen interaction.

North West rips into Kim Kardashian for her Met Gala fits

In the latest episode of The Kardashians, North did not hold back at all as she dived into her thoughts on certain fashion choices her mother made in the past. According to the 10-year-old’s expert opinion, her mother’s 2021 Met Gala outfit gave the impression of somebody being suffocated “by a plastic bag”. Well, the all-black Balenciaga gown that covered everything from Kardashian’s head to ankles was certainly a daring choice.

She also had something to say about the beauty mogul’s 2013 Givenchy outfit for the Met Gala. The fact that her mother was actually carrying North did not deter the latter from telling her mother that she “really” did not take to it. Even the white Schiaparelli dress the mother of four wore to this year’s Met Gala was not safe. According to North, it looked like a “dollar-store” buy! 

Not only her mother but also Kanye West has been the target of North’s fashion-fuelled fire.

When Kanye West was deemed an unfit designer by his daughter

In an interview from five years ago with Power 92 Chicago, Kanye West revealed how his then 5-year-old daughter set him straight once. Apparently, he had tried to help her build a “bubblewrap dress”, a task at which he was failing according to North. Well, she had to correct her father’s techniques and tell him that he was a “bad designer” who would never “sell any clothes” with that attitude!

Despite the tough love, she does like herself to be known as similar to her father in many ways. Now, it seems like she is going to grow into quite the fashion maestro like her parents. While the world holds its breath when West or his ex-wife set foot on the red carpet, their daughter is not as easy to impress. It seems like the two have found a new savagely honest critic within their homes.
