None of ’Argylle’s Scenic Backdrops Feature as Henry Cavill’s Once Mentioned “magical” Place
Marking his mainstream acting debut way back in 2001 with Laguna, Henry Cavill has a lot of experience and charisma under his belt. Standing tall as one of the most well-built live-action Superman, the actor’s acting endeavors have taken him around the world. More recently, the just-released Matthew Vaughn’s spy flick, Argylle, featured a globe-trotting adventure that had the British actor visit scenic landscapes. However, it turns out that none of those places could top the coveted one he considers his heart’s favorite.
With a net worth of $50 million, the former DCEU actor once broke down the finer details behind his travel escapades, including his preference for first-class.

Argylle filmed itself in Greenford, Park Royal, and Bovingdon studios, but many of its background shots were filmed in Greece and the United States. Similarly, Man of Steel took Henry Cavill to Chicago, Illinois, and British Columbia. However, in talks with Outlook Traveller in July 2018, the actor revealed that no place could ever top the list than his hometown of Jersey in the UK. “It is magical for me,” he settled the notion while counting many fond memories of “family barbecues”.
Along the lines, the Justice League actor also broke down the intricacies of his travel experiences. Claiming that “long-distance economy travel sucks,” the 40-year-old laid bare his love for first-class seats for the simple reason that a “six feet tall” person like him can enjoy sufficiently more comfort. As far as the places he had visited, Dublin, Ibiza, Prague, and Rome stood out as his beloved ones. Finally, he concluded that all of South America and India lay ahead for his next itinerary.
Surprisingly, the actor’s most recent movie release received a sub-par reception, at least according to Henry Cavill’s standards.

Matthew Vaughn labeled his upcoming spy flick as a fun-filled adventure that lay adorned with twists throughout. While the latter did stand true, the process of assembling the storyline fell somewhat flat. As a result, Argylle debuted with a critical score of just 39% which fell further to now stand at a mere 33% despite a 71% audience rating. The film’s VFX and Dua Lipa’s acting came across as leading issues.
Against its $200 million budget, the movie had managed to earn back only $40.4 million worldwide by 7th February. In terms of Henry Cavill making his presence felt at the box office, all hopes now lay on his upcoming Guy Ritchie project, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, which just received its first teaser trailer. A World War II action thriller, the movie has already started buzzing for the right reasons.
