The final season of Stranger Things just started setting up its filming sets back again. While the actors wait for their green flag to start filming, the makers of the show are busy getting the Hawkings town ready. The last time we saw the fantasy horror show come live on screen was back in 2022. Following the updates as of yet, fans can expect the last season to air in 2024. And after Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp had a wonderful run outside the franchise, the fans can’t wait to see the two come live on screen for one last time. Among these fans are some Hollywood-studded stars.

Just days before Stranger Things Season 4’s release, the Grammy-winning Olivia Rodrigo posted a video whilst fake screaming with excitement for the release. Fast forward a year and two months, the gen-Z favorite Noah Schnapp gushed over her.

Noah Schnapp chooses ghosts over fanged beings

Seems like being fans works both for the two Hollywood sensations. The 18-year-old Stranger Things actor recently did an interview with Variety on Coming Out and other experiences. While Schnapp shared his journey about coming out in the interview, he also played a fun game of ‘This or That’. While his cheerful and enticing personality engaged the screen, his love for Rodrigo’s music was revealed like a showstopper. Whilst answering which supernatural creature he prefers, the Stranger Things actor slipped in a quick promotion.

When asked which supernatural entity he would want to play between vampires and ghosts, the actor chose ghosts. He immediately added, “Speaking of vampires, Olivia Rodrigo just released her new song.” The 20-year-old singer’s new song, Vampire, just release about a month ago. And seems like Rodrigo has a Stranger Things actor following her back. Even Millie Bobby Brown once posted a video jamming to Rodrigo’s “Good 4 u” in 2021.

While Variety’s feature had lots to reveal about Schnapp, the one intriguing detail revealed by the show’s co-creator Ross Duffer shows a striking similarity with another fantasy show on Netflix.

The parallels between The Witcher and Stranger Things

The Stranger Things storyline had one similarity with another quite opposite fantasy series, The Witcher. Both Netflix shows ended up staging the upcoming seasons to shift the light from one character to another. The creator of the show, Ross Duffer, joined Schnapp’s interview with Variety, revealing how Will Byers would take center stage in Season 5 again.

On the other hand, The Witcher’s Tomasz Bagiński, explained in detail in The Witcher: Making Season 3 how the focus was now being shifted to Yennefer. They eased out the politics and pushed the sorceress from Vengerberg to the center. While Stranger Things breaks fans’ hearts with its ending, The Witcher broke their fans’ hearts by pulling Eleven’s “I dump your ass” on Henry Cavill.
