In her short tenure as a working royal, Meghan Markle and her rivalry with the royal family, at that time yet to be publicized with a Netflix docuseries, formed the crux of most if not every front page. While this followed the former actress, even as she made the shift from the United Kingdom to the United States, a new contender has joined the feud. With the only royal around her being Prince Harry, the reports surrounding their troubled marriage and difference of opinion have remained undying.

The speculation regarding the couple’s failing marriage reached an all-time high as Meghan Markle was dropped from her much anticipated public appearance alongside Prince Harry in Germany. But in all her media savvy, the Duchess of Sussex has stomped on the rumors with absolute fervor.

Meghan Markle joins Prince Harry in Germany for Invictus Games

The Invictus Games may have been around since 2014. However, the event has a whole new meaning this year. Started by Prince Harry to encourage disabled servicemen, the Invictus Games 2023, will be a depiction of how much water the Sussexes are in, if they are in any water at all. Given the significance, as Meghan Markle was rumored to be snubbed from the schedule, those frothing in the mouth to see her downfall raised their hands in victory. But alas, the Duchess was spotted smiling in Germany as per the Daily Mail.

After being spotted at LAX, Meghan Markle landed in Düsseldorf to unite with Prince Harry and also take her spot on the stage to talk about the stories of the participants. While her absence from Invictus Games had already been revealed as an error in the system, it was quite a sight to see the Duchess nonchalantly destroy the rumors.

It is unclear how significant the Duchess’ presence is at the actual event, but the importance of her appearance alongside Prince Harry cannot be stressed enough.

Can the Duchess bring an end to divorce rumors with the Invictus Games?

The Invictus Games will mark the first public event with the Californian royals at the helm of affairs in a while. Since the release of their Harry & Meghan docuseries, Meghan Markle and Prince attended the Woman of Vision award in May which ended in an alleged car crash in New York. Since then, it has been one bad news after the other for the Sussexes in the form of falling deals and failing friendships. But if done right, the Sussexes can turn the tables with the Invictus Games.

It was through their power couple-esuqe walk alongside each other at royal events that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry managed to steal the spotlight. And the Invictus Games give them a chance to do just that. While their cozy dance at the Beyoncé concert has already set things in motion, the games in Germany can set the Sussex ship sail again.
