“No I hadn’t”- When Henry Cavill Revealed the One Thing He Hadn’t Done Prior to Mission Impossible: Fallout

Henry Cavill has always been an individual to look out for. Over the years, we have witnessed the British actor carve a niche out for himself in the film industry. Throughout his career, Cavill has won hearts and left fans in awe with his incredible performances. The Enola Holmes actor always goes the lengths to perfectly execute a scene. Furthermore, Cavill has incredible versatility, and the actor has starred in some very experimental roles. Similarly, while filming Mission Impossible: Fallout alongside Tom Cruise, had to do something he had never done before.

Mission Impossible has always raised the bar high for action movies with top-class action sequences in their films. And likewise, Mission Impossible:Fallout was no different. The Tom Cruise and Henry Cavill starrer film featured some incredible scenes that saw the duo do extreme stunts. And interestingly, Cavill even had to get his motorcycle license prior to filming a bike sequence.

During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host asked if Cavill had ridden a bike before. The British star was quick enough to react as he spoke, “No I hadn’t.”  Cavill spoke that he did not take his motorcycle license before since he felt he was over 30 years old and felt he would ever need it for work.

Owing to the importance that surrounded the biking scene, the crew members told Cavill how they would build a special rig for him. However, determined as the British star was he decided to get his motorcycle license. He revealed on the talk show, “After that I was so gutted with my failure that I went and passed my motorcycle license during shooting.”

As surprising as it sounds, even though The Witcher star does not have a license, he loves motorcycles. Previously, Cavill even spoke about his love for obsession for two wheelers and the peculiar connection it had with Superman.

Will Henry Cavill reprise his role as August Walker for Mission Impossible 8?

As we all know, Mission Impossible: Fallout broke all records, as the Tom Cruise starrer was the highest grossing film for the franchise. While the incredible storyline and action scenes amazed fans, Cavill’s role as August Walker added significantly to the film’s success. Mission Impossible: Fallout earned a whooping $792 million around the world.

Owing to the flawless way the British actor portrayed Walker, fans are curious to know whether Cavill would be reprising his role in Mission Impossible 8. Previously, director Christopher McQuarrie shed some light on the same. As per reports by Koimoi, McQuarrie spoke how apart from Cruise a few other members from Fallout will also be returning for the sequel. However, he did not name any character in particular.
