Recently, social media was thrown into a frenzy when the rumors of the cancelation of Euphoria made their way online. After two heart-wrenching seasons and five years of the show, it was claimed that the cast was told to look for other projects. However, it looks like there might have been a slight bit of miscommunication that had taken place.
Just hours after the speculation took hold of the internet, another update about the anticipated third season of the Zendaya show ended up being revealed that swatted the rumors that came before it.

Since the second season of Euphoria was released in 2022, fans have been waiting for updates on the third season. While filming was set to start later this year, but the show has run into some problems. Although it is not being canceled, reports from Deadline revealed that the drama series would be more delayed than fans had previously expected.
With the director and writer of the drama, Sam Levinson still tweaking the scripts for the upcoming third season, the show has been pushed back indefinitely for the time being. It was also revealed that the unforeseen delay would give cast members like Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, and even Zendaya more time to focus on other projects. After all, the stars have been a part of the show since its beginning in 2019.
While the update might give some relief to fans after the claims of cancelation, some cast members might not be feeling the same way.

Ever since Euphoria began in 2019, the public has been divided over the contents of the show. With drug addiction, body issues, and even sexual deviance playing a huge part in the series, it ended up becoming controversial. For years, none of the actors seemed to have a problem with being a part of the show. However, with 2 years off between seasons, Jacob Elordi has concerns about his role in the upcoming third season.
The actor shared that he felt as though he might have outgrown his teenage character, Nate Jacobs. After all, Elordi’s career seemed to take off in the last year with him tackling the role of Elvis in Priscilla and Barry Keoghan’s Saltburn. While the 26-year-old might have doubts about the rather toxic and confused character, fans cannot wait to see the star back in the saddle.
