19-Year-Old Millie Bobby Brown Reveals the One Book She’ll Pass On to Her Kids, and It’s Not ‘Nineteen Steps’
Millie Bobby Brown already has some major titles under her belt at just 19. This month she added a new one, publishing her first novel Nineteen Steps. This book certainly is a monumental accomplishment for her because it has connections to her family. Inspired by her grandma’s stories, it is partly historical fiction and romance set in World War II. Fans who keep a check on her outings might know the young superstar has been continuously promoting it, even with her kitty.
In one of the interviews, the teen revealed the book she wants her children to read, but it is not her novel. Can you think of a name that captured her heart?

Brown recently joined the book column Shelf Life of Elle where authors share their favorite reads. During the conversation, the 19-year-old sent out many names of the novels that touched her heart. One of them was Stephen Chbosky’s famous epistolary novel The Perks of Being a Wallflower. The actress said she would pass it on to her children because it teaches many important lessons about life. “I think it shows the importance of being kind to one another, particularly when children are in school,” explained the British star.
According to her, this book makes people helps them understand the emotions of others while making them realize their true selves. The teen herself has gone through some really dark phases of her life. So she knows what it feels like when people berate you and wants her kid to be humble and grounded. Considering she is already a superstar and would become even more popular in the coming years. Besides this, the actress also spilled beans about the book she would want to be adapted into a television show.

In the same interview, she also gave away the name of the book she had read and would like to watch on TV. The fantasy novel series A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. Fans know Brown has always loved stories that center on women and depict their perspective on life. And hence, she loves this novel which follows the journey of Feyre Archeron, who is brought into the faerie lands of Prythian for murdering a faerie.
Not just that, the young author also has the same intentions for her first novel and wants people to see it on screen after reading it. It is possible that she might create the movie herself because she has already helmed the production of Enola Holmes twice.
