Millie Bobby Brown has become entirely occupied since the launch of her first novel Nineteen Steps. The young author has not left a single chance to popularize her book among fans on social media. From making it appropriate for poolside summer reading to calling it her travel partner, she has done it all. But lately, the actress has been traveling from one city to another to promote the book and meet fans who have bought it already.
Continuing that parade of hers, the teen recently opened up about her love for the stories old people tell and how, because of the same, her grandma became the inspiration behind her massive debut in the literature industry.

Millie Bobby Brown recently sat down with BBC Woman’s Hour to talk about her novel ‘Nineteen Steps’. The official account of the outlet dropped a glimpse of the interview on Instagram. The video showed the 19-year-old talking about her granny, who had Alzheimer’s and used to forget everything. So to make her feel comfortable and heard in that situation, she used to hear her stories. Having a creative mind, this superstar kept on storing all those things and wrote a book.
The Enola Holmes star continued that if she had not become an actress, she would be working in a care home. For her, those places are treasure stories of the past in the form of old people. “I love the history that old people hold and the story they do tell even if they are completely made up,” added Brown.
So honoring all the time she spent with her grandparents, the actress wrote Nineteen Steps and wants her fans to do the same.

So she knows what it is like to be around people who have lived a long life and have valuable lessons and experiences. In the same interview, she said that people should read the book she wrote about her family history.
They should also go and talk to their grandparents about their own so they could be aware of what things took place in the past. Also, the actress asked fans to visit care homes if they do not have any older family members because it would bring people the happiness who live there.
