Long after her Friends reunion episode, Jennifer Aniston is now headlining The Morning Show alongside Friends co-star Reese Witherspoon. As the show recently aired its third season with the finale to follow next month, costume designer Debra McGuire shared her thoughts on designing for Aniston. Right off the bat, she segregated Aniston from the rest of the stars for her faultless sense of fashion. “She knows exactly what works,” said McGuire in the Harper’s Bazaar interview. Highlighting that, unlike other celebrities whose fashion suggestions for themselves do not quite match their persona, Aniston’s choices have always been absolutely spot-on.

It shall hardly come as a surprise that to date Aniston has never failed to impress with her dressing style. From chic and professional to sleek and minimal, the actress’ has always been at the top of her fashion A-game. Chiming in further, McGuire also noted that in the numerous red carpet appearances, Aniston has “never had a mistake”. Rather, the diva’s grasp on herself is as good as the finest of Hollywood movies ever produced. It is even something that her designer for thirty years agrees with too and is the sole reason why she trusts the actress’ “instincts.”

Additionally, as the third season of the show progresses towards its finale, McGuire teased an even more appealing and body-conscious dressing for the actress on the cards.

The one who has the best taste in fashion

From the early 90s to the turn of the millennium and the early 2000s, Aniston stole every scene of Friends she was in with her acting and elegant wardrobe, which still grace her wardrobe. Additionally, her keen sense of fashion is reflected in her character, Rachel Green, a fashion executive. Further, the flair of her elegance was such that one could dedicate an entire episode of the show just to showcase her fashion lexicon. Now, even in 2023, the actress continues her fashionista persona as the third season of The Morning Show finds her dressed in an Alexander McQueen pantsuit, Saint Laurent turtleneck, and a Valentino Gown.

Interestingly, the two seasons of the show, which have already aired, had Aniston dressed even more deftly than real-life presenters. However, the third season is marking a change. Aniston’s character is set to exude “confidence” and thus showcase a bolder styling choice. Shedding the jackets, Aniston will now wear strapless silhouettes, and V-necks and display “more arms” as per the designer. All of it is meant to portray the changing fashion scenes and there is perhaps no one better to demonstrate than Jennifer Aniston herself.
