“Never ever stop shining…” – Arnold Schwarzenegger Gives a Powerful Message at the 2023 White House Correspondents Dinner
The annual White House Correspondents dinner took place this Saturday, and it was not devoid of a surprise cameo! That too, in no less than a Hollywood family drama style. The celebrity pet donkey and pony were also in attendance. Yes! we are indeed directing your attention toward the former governor of California, bodybuilder, and veteran actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger. He apparently delivered a 2 minutes speech to bring up the curtain on the ceremony.
The celebrity pet dad, along with his long-time friend and Twin co-star Danny DeVito, appeared in a pre-recorded video to thank the press to deliver his truth to the world. He began his speech by saying he did not want to roast anybody or make jokes about them. Instead, he expressed his gratitude to each and everyone present at the assembly. Schwarzenegger further addressed how it would not be possible for America to be “the beacon of freedom” without the privilege of a “free press.” He then stated, “I wouldn’t be the Arnold that you know without the press.”

Even though they have asked him a plethora of “annoying” questions, it is the press that has made his life “possible” and “successful.” Schwarzenegger notably concluded his speech by giving a powerful message: “Never ever stop shining a light on the truth and inform the public.” DeVito then joked about how he went there only to get bitten by the Terminator star’s horse, Whiskey.

The 75-year-old Austrian actor has notably used his platform and a good reputation for various philanthropic works. Not only does he encourage environment-friendly works but has also voiced his opinion on antisemitism, asking the netizens to respect each other’s beliefs and live with peace and harmony.
In one of his YouTube videos elsewhere, the 7-time Mr Olympia title winner had also given an example of his father who was a part of the Nazi party stating how they felt like a loser because they fell for a loser ideology. He then urged those who may have already fallen onto a misleading path to ponder upon how they can still stop such sufferings to take place.
